Do we need to sign a contract or pay anything upfront?

How long does it take to set up?
Most schools are live within 1–3 days of their first demo. We configure the system with your grade structure, subject list, fee schedule and term dates. Do our teachers need training?
Minimal. SmartSchools is built to be simple enough for any teacher to use without a course. We do a short walkthrough with your staff during setup, and we're available if anyone gets stuck.
Can we bring in our existing learner and fee records?
Yes, and you keep control of them. Upload what you already have — a spreadsheet, an export, or photographs of handwritten registers and fee books — and the system reads them and creates the records for you. Nothing has to be retyped, and nothing has to leave your hands. If you'd rather we helped, just call us.
How are payments recorded against learners?
Your bursar captures each receipt against the correct learner's account, and the balance updates immediately. Every payment is matched to a learner, so nothing sits unallocated and no one reconciles a spreadsheet after the fact.
