Software for medical insurance companies

Pay only the right claims. Invoice everyone in one click.

M‑Care Suite helps you do the four things that decide whether your scheme makes money: know who is covered, pay only what your rules and your agreed price lists allow, invoice every organisation and individual client on time, and see what you are making while you can still act on it.

Everything works off one member record, so a claim, a hospital's list and an invoice always tell the same story.

What it's for

Four ways it pays for itself

Most insurers keep members in one place, claims in another, billing in a spreadsheet and the money in a fourth — then spend every month making the four agree.

Sound familiar?

Money leaves quietly when the four jobs are done separately

When cover, claims, billing and money live in different places, nobody can answer a simple question — what are we paying out, and what are we owed — without days of checking.

You pay for people you no longer cover
Changes to members, new dependants and suspensions reach the claims desk late, so claims are paid for cover that had already ended.
The same claim gets two different answers
Limits, exclusions and the prices you agreed with each hospital sit in documents and in people's heads, so the answer depends on who picks the claim up.
Invoicing takes two weeks and still goes out wrong
Invoices are typed one client at a time from an old member list, individual families are missed, hospital lists are emailed when someone remembers, and the money is checked long after it mattered.
↓ M‑Care Suite does all four off one member record ↓
You stop paying for cover that ended
Members, dependants and suspensions sit on the same record the claims desk reads, so the answer is always today's answer.
The system answers every claim the same way
Your limits, waiting periods, exclusions and agreed price lists are put in once. The system then checks every claim against them and turns down anything they do not allow.
A month of invoicing takes minutes
One click invoices every organisation and every individual client from today's member list, each with a card-payment link. The hospital subscriber list then goes out on the payment rules you agreed with each one.

The rest of the system

What makes the four jobs possible

The parts working underneath, included for everyone. You do not buy them separately.

01
Hospital contracts and agreed prices
Every hospital's contract and price list in one place, item by item, used by the system the moment a claim arrives — not argued over claim by claim.
What you get: You pay the price you signed for, and nothing you did not sign for.
02
Benefit and scheme design
Build schemes, benefit categories, limits, co‑payments and waiting periods, and version them as they change.
What you get: Rule changes are configuration, not a code release.
03
A window for hospitals and clients
Hospitals look a member up and get a straight yes or no on cover, plus a warning when a referral letter is required. They never see balances or limits. Organisations and individual clients see their own member list, invoices and statements.
What you get: Cover is confirmed before treatment, without showing anyone what is left to spend.
04
Sending out the paperwork
Invoices, member lists and payment statements are made and sent by the system, and it keeps a record of every one.
What you get: You can prove what was sent, to whom and when.
05
A record of everything
Every check, answer, rejection, invoice and payment shows who did it, when, and on what basis, with limits on who may approve what.
What you get: Auditors and the regulator are answered from the system.
06
Reports for the board
What you are taking in, what you are paying out, by scheme and by hospital, and what is still owed — all from live figures.
What you get: One set of numbers everyone works from.

How it works

You set it up yourself, and we train you

There is no implementation project to wait for. Wizards walk you through your schemes, rules and prices step by step, we train your staff, and you do the work at your own pace. If you would rather we did a part of it with you, just ask — we agree that with you.

Our systems follow the way you already work. We set them up around your current workflow — we don't make you change your process to fit the system.

Step 1
You set up a scheme with the wizard
Follow the wizard through your own benefits, limits, exclusions and agreed hospital prices. We train your staff on it first, and stay a phone call away while you work.
Step 2
You run your own past claims through it
Put a batch of claims you have already settled through the system, then compare what it decided and what it would have paid with what actually happened.
You go live one step at a time
Step 3
You go live one step at a time
Members move across first, then claims, then the money side — one scheme at a time, with your old way still running until you are happy.

Pricing

You pay for the people you cover, and nothing to try it

Scheme is $0.50 per active member per month, for up to 50,000 members. For larger books or several schemes, we agree pricing with you. Membership, claims, billing and finance come together, not as four things to buy.

Every rate is agreed in writing before anything moves across. SMS and WhatsApp messages are charged separately. Rates depend on your country, so contact us for a quote. Where we connect to a bank or mobile money service, that institution’s transaction charges are billed separately. We handle the technical side only and cannot set third‑party charges. On‑site implementation is charged at actual cost: flights, accommodation, vehicle hire, meals and other travel expenses.
Pay by card or bank debit through Stripe, or by invoice and bank transfer — whichever your finance team prefers.

Common questions

What insurers and administrators ask us first
Can we test it before committing?
Yes. You set up one of your schemes yourself — the wizards take you through it and we train your staff first — then run your own past claims through it and compare the answers and amounts with what actually happened.
Do we need your people to set it up for us?
No. It is built to be set up by your own staff, with a wizard for each part: schemes and benefits, hospital contracts and prices, invoicing rules and users. We train you on it and answer questions as you go. If you would rather we did some of it with you, we agree that with you — it is a choice, not a requirement.
How do we pay you?
By card or bank debit through Stripe, or by invoice and bank transfer if your finance team prefers that. Card payments are set up once and collected monthly against your member count, with a receipt emailed each time.
Can our clients pay their invoice by card?
Yes. Every invoice the system emails can carry a secure Stripe payment link, so an organisation or an individual client can pay by card or bank debit the moment they open it. The payment is matched to the invoice automatically, and the client's subscriber status follows your payment rule without anyone keying it in.
How does migration work?
Phased, and scheme by scheme: membership first, then claims, then finance, with your existing process running alongside until you're satisfied with each stage.
Can it handle our benefit structures?
Benefit categories, limits, sub‑limits, co‑payments, waiting periods and exclusions are configured and versioned per scheme, so rule changes don't require a release.
How are the prices we agreed with hospitals handled?
Each hospital's agreed price list is put into the system, item by item. When a claim comes in, anything not on that list is turned down, and anything charged above the agreed price is turned down — with the reason sent back to the hospital, so it is corrected instead of argued about.
What about audit and regulatory requirements?
Every decision, override and payment carries who, when and on what basis, with role‑based approval thresholds and reporting produced from live data.
Can we cover organisations and individual families in the same system?
Yes. An organisation holds its members, and an individual client holds their dependants. Both are set up the same way, both are invoiced in the same monthly run — the organisation to its finance office, the individual to the member — and both follow their own payment agreement.
When is the subscriber list sent to the hospitals?
It is a separate run from invoicing, usually at the start of the period. Each client's rule decides who is on it: some must have paid before the period starts, others may still be unpaid up to an agreed date inside the period. The system holds back or includes them accordingly, per organisation and per individual client.
Can hospitals check a member before they treat them?
Yes. Every hospital has its own window that gives a straight yes or no on whether the member is covered for the service in front of them, and warns when a referral or authorisation letter is required. Balances and remaining limits are never shown to a provider, so nobody can treat up to what is left.
Who supports us in production?
You get a named contact, and anything that stops claims, billing or payments moving is treated as severity one with 24/7 cover.
